Han – This is manly Seamus’ nickname for her, but sometimes others use it.
Little Descendant – This is from the painting of her ancestor, Gifford Abbott.
Pigtails – This was from when she was younger and it stuck. When she was little, really until she was fourteen, she wore pigtails every day. Anyone who knew her from that time knows about the nickname and most call her that. Everyone else calls her Hannah or Miss if she is at the Leaky Cauldron and they don’t know her.

EYE COLOUR: Chestnut. Her eyes are unwaveringly chestnut in all parts. Not a single part of her pupil deviates from this color. Her eyes have no highlights or tints of different colors. They are chestnut through and through.

BODY TYPE: She is somewhat plump, not very athletic, but still nice looking over all. Her hips aren’t very prominent, and she’s altogether plain looking in terms of body type. She’s not very curvaceous, and she isn’t really toned muscle wise.
PERSONAL STYLE: Hannah will wear a great many of things, but she really isn’t into fashion. After truly joining the wizarding world when she joined Hogwarts, she gravitated more towards robes, but when she likes stylish and sleek looking aprons when she is working. She’ll wear a dress underneath, a very modest one, going down to her ankles. She gravitates towards wearing blue, as it brings out her eyes.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Her chestnut eyes, because of their lack of color variations. On her pinky (right hand), above the knuckle, is a slender, wavering, but defined, scar. It's about a centimeter or two long. Her legs and back are full of scars from when the Carrows were at the school. Otherwise, she really doesn’t stick out. Her pink skin and soft pink lips blend in with others. She is fragile looking, but so are many girls. Her ears are a bit large though, but not incredibly so.

Even though it is small, it is beautiful, just like Hannah has a beautiful personality if you get to know her.

BASIC PERSONALITY: Hannah is a good natured girl, and quite friendly, but she jades some things about herself, at least until she knows a person well enough so that she knows they won’t make fun of her. After she knows someone for a while, she completely opens herself up. She really only has two levels of friendships either acquaintances or best friends. She is very trusting, almost too trusting, which, paired along with her innocent and naïve nature, causing her to actually be easily manipulated. If someone were to masquerade as one of her friends, and tried to lead her to do something, they would probably be able to get her to do it, as long as it wasn’t something too drastic like injuring another of her friends.

BIOGRAPHY:
On June 11, 1980, was born a little girl with a pink face. Her true parents were a member of the Order of the Phoenix and a death-eater, but she has never discovered. Lisa and Howard took care of her and she still considers them her parents. Thoughh her 'father' was a wizard, her 'mother' was a muggle, so not much magic was used in the house. She lived a nice life in London, with her mother and father. A few fights broke out over the subject of magic, but never when she was around. She never noticed the tension whenever the subject was brought up. She went to a normal school as a child, even though she knew of magic.
She first learned about magic when she was six. It was the first times she ever got to mow. There was no one and nothing around, what could it hurt? She was at her Great Great Uncle's house in Godric's Hollow. She was finished mowing, and forgot to turn off the blades as she went to put it away. She was heading for an electric cord, but she noticed it too late. The lawn mower shredded the cord with a horrible sound; one piece of the wire, copper exposed, flew up and cut her pinky, deeply. She screamed in surprise, slamming the brakes. Her father arrived first, apparating to the site. With one look, her father knew what had happened to his frazzled daughter. He whipped out his wand. [b]"Repario!"[/b] The cord was fixed! Her father wasn't skilled with healing spells, so Hannah's cut healed the muggle way. Young Hannah didn't think anything of her father's magic at the time. Couldn't all dads do that? Her Great Great Uncle died later that year in 1986, he rests in Godric's Hollow.
She talked about it at school, and was labeled with a creative imagination. In school creative writing was always her strong point. She just wrote the truth, but her teachers didn’t know that. She was popular in school, at least until she was ten. At ten, all her friends had stopped believing in her ‘fantasies’ about magic and got annoyed when she told them. It was a hard year before she started Hogwarts. She actually tried to believe what her friends did about magic, but she knew the truth and couldn’t go against what her eyes had seen.
Hannah started Hogwarts in 1991 along with Harry Potter, Luna Lovegood, and Neville Longbottom, among others. She was the first to be sorted and was sorted into Hufflepuff, where she made fast and close friends with Ernie Macmillian and Justin Finch-Fletchley. Her first year was just like any others full of wonder and friendship and magic. She didn’t have to hide her magic and her knowledge of it.
During her second year of Howarts, 1992, she was one of the many who thought Harry to be the heir of Slytherian. She wasn’t sure at first, though. Harry had always been so nice, but her friends convinced her otherwise. When Justin was attacked, she felt very uneasy. She didn’t like it one bit. He was one of her best friends. It just wasn’t right. Ernie was okay, but sometimes he could be an arrogant git. After Hermoine was attacked, Hannah realized she had been misguided in her accusations and apologized to Harry. During the year of 1993, a feeling of uneasiness again returned to her family life and to Hogwarts in general when it was discovered that mass murderer Sirius Black was on the loose. After he got out of Azkaban, she figured out how he did it, or so she thought. To everyone who would listen, she proclaimed her theory – Sirius could turn into a flowering shrub to avoid detection.
The year of the Triwizard Tournament, 1994, was an exciting year for Hannah that turned into disaster. Along with the Triwizard Tournament, it was the year she stopped wearing ponytails. It showed how she had matured. It marked that she was fourteen. She was one of many that wished Harry not in the tournament. Hufflepuff usually didn’t get much attention and Harry was stealing it, in her view. Along with Ernie, she showed support for Cedric and a lack of support for Harry. To show this, she like many others, wore a ‘Support CEDRIC DIGGORY – The REAL Hogwarts Champion!/POTTER STINKS’ badge. Secretly, though, she didn’t want Cedric to even participate, as she feared for her fellow housemate’s life. Her fears came true later in the year when Cedric was killed by Lord Voldemort. Harry won the tournament, but it didn’t bother Hannah as it would have if Cedric would have lived. He had died, winning was irrelevant.
She was one of the few that believed Harry about Voldemort’s return, after all her own housemate had been killed. A prefect in 1995, she joined Dumbledore’s Army instead of just going along with Umbridge’s lack of true teaching. Even though she defied Umbridge, she was still worried about being caught. Luckily, Harry was able to find a secret passage from the Dungeons to the Seventh Floor, allowing her to get to the Room of Requirement without getting in trouble. She enjoyed the DA and was loyal even after its initial purpose dissolved, as seen when she aided Harry when he was attacked by Draco Malfoy, Gregory Goyle, and Vincent Crabbe. 1995, her fifth year, was also the year of her OWLs. This was a year when her lack of self-confidence came into play. Many of time she thought herself stupid and that she was going to fail. Once she broke down crying after a Herbology lesson. She was too stupid to take her exams – or so she claimed. Later she received a Calming Draft from Madame Pomfrey, but her nerves still overcame her. During her transfiguration exam, she managed to transform her ferret into a flock of flamingos, halting examinations for ten minutes.
Again in Herbology a big event happened in 1996. She was told that her mother had been killed by Death Eaters earlier that day at her home in London. This was because her mother had married a wizard. Her father wasn’t at home, so her mother was killed. Her father took her out of school and was a changed man then. He easily got angry at her. She was looked nothing like her mother, she never knew why, and her father took out his anger at his wife’s untimely demise towards her, in which she could never understand his reasons. That was when home life got hard.
She returned to Hogwarts in 1997 as it was mandatory under Voldemort’s reign. Her father would have sent her anyway. He could barely stand to look at her. She joined the reformed DA and acted against the rule of Snape and the Carrows. She did graffiti and acted out as the others did. Without the support of her friends, she probably never would have done so. This was the year Hannah really got to know Neville, as they were both part of the rebellions. Hannah received a plethora of beatings as punishments and was thrice a practice target for the cruciatus curse. All three curses were performed by Tracey Davis. When the DA rebellion died down after Christmas, Hannah’s rebellion died down too. But, when the Carrows came after Neville, and he had to go into hiding, she started to rebel by herself. They were just little things: graffiti, notes, pamphlets - nothing big. Neville was her friend and it wasn’t right that he had to hide in the Room of Requirement. The Carrows eventually discovered she was behind them and she went into hiding with others in the Room of Requirement.
She fought in the Battle of Hogwarts. In the first part, she was in Fred and George Weasley’s group and defended the secret passages. During the second, Harry saved her and Seamus Finnigan with a shield charm. Lord Voldemort had sent a curse there way. In the blur she was unsure what curse it was but was certain that Harry saved her. When she returned home after the battle, she found that her father had starved and beat himself to death in a locked room full of pictures of her mother. She was of age of that time, as she had stayed at Hogwarts to help with clean up. After she had performed the Alohomora charm on the door, she saw her father in his last moments of life. “Why?”, he breathed before all life flowed out of his body. After then, she was able to see Thestrals, but it isn’t what she sees when dementors are around is not this. She has seen a lot of torture in her life, all pretty much when the Carrows were at school, and since she had seen so much, her personal failure still was what she saw.
After she returned back home from Hogwarts, she was of age, both wizardly and in muggle aspects also. She had been too young to take her apparition test back in her sixth year, and when the Carrows were there she really didn’t get the chance. Setting off from an empty home, it wasn’t even hers, they had rented, she took her apparition test at the ministry. After that, she looked for work; she found a spot at the Leaky Cauldron. She got along with her boss, Tom, and he liked her. When he decided to retire, in 2000, she was given the Leaky Cauldron, which she has been taking care of for the past two years, and living above, in one of the rooms. She enjoys working there because she hears what’s going on and sees some of her friends when they come through.
